Clear Lake birdlife in League City.
I love it when the moon is visible in full sunshine.
I also love it when the sun is shining and all of a sudden it starts pouring down rain simultaneously.
I think what I love about those things is the idea that we usually think of moon and sun, sun and rain, as opposites. As things that don’t go together.
So when they do happen at the same time, I feel like I’m witnessing mother nature breaking the “rules,” being a rebel.
And I have a deep fondness for rebels.
So, Mother Nature, you go, gural!
I also like it when you happen to be on the border of rain when it is raining on one side of you and not on the other. It has happened with a distinctive border just once in my life. But I guess I will never foget it. And once there were no clouds above and yet it was raining like from a bucket…
i did not have time to cycle today. Had a lot of work to do on my land… auatumn chores.
Best regards from Slovenia!

Hi Peter,
The dry on one side, raining on the other side phenomenon has never happened to me, but I hope to experience it someday for myself. Hope you’re enjoying that autumn weather; I know I am!
