So, I really am still alive over here!  I have not crashed my trike into a brick wall or driven it into Houston’s notorious traffic or over a muddied embankment and into the overfilled bayous – though any of that is always a possibility given my sometimes-amusing always-contentious lack of coordination and (dis)ability to actually watch-where-I’m-going 😉

We’ve been moving house, and the holidays plus all of the never-ending packing and unpacking has almost gotten the better of me.  Add to that that both Gary and I have been traveling hither and yon, and that my health with all the packing, moving, unpacking, traveling, holiday “adventures,” etc. has not been the best.

The good news, for me, anyway, is that I’ve been doing a lot of writing.  The somewhat-bad news is that technical difficulties in the traveling/moving/computer realm have translated into my not being able to get things uploaded to the blog. (can you say, lost loads and loads of stuff in attempted transition?)

BUT, here’s the thing, I’ve discovered something going on that’s so wonderful I have to share it with you!  So I’m daring, once again, to make a remote post work.  And since the length of my posts seems to have something to do with whether or not they “stick,” I’m going to end this one here and put the yummy news about what I’ve discovered in a follow-up post. (this is me trying to trick the technology poltergeists that plague me; wish me luck)
